Returns & Exchanges
Here at BirdSong Boutique, our #1 goal is to make you happy & give you the highest level of customer service. If you're not 100% satisfied with your order, we want to know so we can fix that!
Please look over your order as soon as you get it in the mail. If you think that you've received a defective item, or it is broken, please contact our Customer Service Team within 7 business days of receiving your order.
If you received an incorrect order are missing items from your order, please contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible so we can get that straightened out for you right away!
Here’s a snapshot of our rules and procedures for returns:
- If you are unhappy with your items you purchased, they can be returned for store credit, or a refund of your original purchase amount.
- If any of your items are damaged, please let us know immediately. We will issue a return shipping label via email and will happily exchange or refund your damaged item(s).
- All returns must be received within 30 days* of the date that we ship out your order.
- We are happy to replace jewelry that has been damaged during shipping or unpacking. Normal wear and tear is excluded.
- Include your return form and original receipt. (It helps us out if you circle the item(s) you wish to return.)
- Shipping (when applicable) is non-refundable, unless there was a mistake on our end.
- Please allow our team 5-7 business days to process your return once it is received at the store.
*Please allow 5-10 days for package transit. This will ensure that we receive your return within the 30 day window.
*Please note that our return policy applies to both domestic and international orders.
If you wish to exchange your item for a different size or piece, please indicate that on the return form. An exchange order for the new size or item will be processed and shipped out to you within 5-7 business days. You will receive an order confirmation email to the email address on the original order. Please note that the exchange is subject to availability. If we do not have the item and size in stock when we receive your return, we will process the return as a gift card code.
We know that ordering things online can be risky & scary since you can’t touch or see the items or try anything on, and because of that we try our best to be very return-friendly. However, there are certain rules that have in place so that we can help you out!
- Any items you purchased must be returned within 30 days of shipping.
We’ve worked really hard to try and make the returns process as simple as we can to keep you happy!
Please take a peek at the process below so that you’ll know just what to expect:
- Fill out the return form included with your order and slip it into the package with your original receipt and the item you are returning. We’ll take it from there! Don’t forget that your original shipping cost (if applicable) is non-refundable.
- Once the postman drops your return off at our store, we will unpack it and put all of your information into the system as quickly as possible! Please allow 5 to 7 business days for your exchange /or refund to be issued.
Changing or Cancelling Your Order
Sometimes something happens and you need to change or cancel your order. We totally understand and are here to help, but you must contact us immediately! We would hate to have packed your order & you’re not happy.
Adding Items to an Order You Just Placed
Have you just submitted your order and then you saw a pair of earrings that you had to have? Well, we have been there, done that!
First, please Customer Service Team contact us immediately! We may be able to add the item to your existing order, but only if we have not already processed your order (usually within 2-4 hours). We cannot add additional items to your order once it has been processed.
If you miss that window, simply place a new order for your can’t miss item, and, as long as it’s within 24 hours of your previous order, contact us immediately. We will do our best to ship it out with your first order. Just email us at Customer Service Team and include both order numbers in your message.
